There are two reasons I bought a paid account on LiveJournal. The biggest reason was fifty lj icons. The second biggest reason was faster loading pages and generally better service. In the past few days, the service has been very bad. Not only are the pages loading slowly, my icons are randomly missing. They come back eventually, but that's not the point.

Everything LJ offers paid users, GJ offers its free users -- except for slow pages and broken images of course.

They don't call it Greatest Journal for nothing, folks.

For the sake of upkeeping my communities here, I won't be deleting my account but I'm certainly not paying for it anymore. In fact, unless LJ makes some drastic changes I think this might be my last post. There just isn't any reason for me to put up with this crap.
